	Prof. Robert Post (Sterling Professor of Law, Yale Law School) Freedom of Speech in Times of Democratic Crises: The Unfortunate Consequences of a Misguided Free Speech Principle May 9, 2023 Professor Post is a world-renowned scholar, specializing in constitutional law and particularly freedom of expression and academic freedom He was a law professor at the University of California Law School, and then joined Yale Law School, where he was Dean for 8 years, from 2009 to 2017. 2022	Prof. Armin von Bogdandy Discussing Carl Schmitt’s European Jurisprudence Chair: Prof. Leora Bilsky December 27, 2022 Armin von Bogdandy is director at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg and Professor for Public Law at the University in Frankfurt/Main. He graduated in law and philosophy before obtaining a Ph.D. in Freiburg (1988) and qualifying as a professor at the FU Berlin (1996). He has been President of the OECD Nuclear Energy Tribunal as well as a member of the German Science Council (Wissenschaftsrat) and the Scientific Committee of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights; he has held visiting positions at the New York University School of Law, the European University Institute, the Xiamen Academy of International Law, and the Universidad Nacional Autonóma de México, among others. He specializes in the general features of public law, with a focus on its structural changes, be they theoretical, doctrinal, or practical.	תכנית
2022	Prof. Bryan Garsten The Liberalism of Refuge November 21 Bryan Garsten is Professor of Political Science and the Humanities, and Chair of the Humanities Program at Yale University. He is the author of Saving Persuasion: A Defense of Rhetoric and Judgment (Harvard University Press, 2006) as well as articles on political rhetoric and deliberation, the meaning of representative government, the relationship of politics and religion, and the place of emotions in political life. Garsten is now finishing a book called The Heart of a Heartless World that examines the ethical, political and religious core of early nineteenth century liberalism in the United States and France. He has also edited Rousseau, the Enlightenment, and Their Legacies, a collection of essays by the Rousseau scholar Robert Wokler (Princeton University Press, 2012). His writings have won various awards, including the First Book Prize of the Foundations of Political Theory section of the American Political Science Association.	תכנית
2020	ב-23.9 פרופ׳ דיויד לובאן, מהפקולטה למשפטים באוניברסיטת ג׳ורג׳טאון, הרצה על Complicity and Lesser Evils: A Tale of Two Lawyers. בהרצאה זו פרופ׳ לובאן התחקה אחר מעשיהם של שני משפטנים בכירים בתקופת המשטר הנאצי – Helmuth James Moltke ו-Bernhard Lösener – ושאל האם השתתפותם של משפטנים במשטרים דכאניים היא תמיד שגויה מוסרית, או שניתן לראותה כ״הפחתת הרוע״ (״lesser evilism״). ד״ר סמדר בן-נתן הגיבה להרצאה.	תכנית הערב הקלטת ההרצאה
